We are seeking a Clinical Research Site Project Liaison. This is part of Optimal Research and is a home based position with 30% travel. 

This position is responsible for the oversight of study sponsor/ CRO clients and study implementation within Optimal. This position is charged with client management and budget oversight, study specific process definition and value message creation. This person will be responsible for the overall successful enrollment of any trial awarded to Optimal. Role includes responsibility for generating project specific process maps, IRB submissions and study contracting.

Main responsibilities

  • Serves as primary point of contact for the client Sponsor/ CRO including all client relationship management.  Provides all client level project reporting.

  • Provides Optimal with details regarding site activation and enrollment for all financial accounting.

  • Reviews protocol with Sponsor generating initial and ongoing modifications to all value messaging.

  • Oversee core document collection, quality control of site provided documents and, or of Regulatory IRB submissions including initial Quality document review.

  • Track all JIT projects and communicate ongoing site updates to Director of Optimal Site Consortia.

  • Complete all Optimal reporting and status requirements in a timely and accurate way.

  • Support SOP generation and updates assuring compliance by all team members.

  • 30% travel.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate

  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical research experience with at least two (2) years in a leadership position including direct client leadership responsibilities or equivalent experience.

  • Oncology research experience required.

  • Ability to present to potential clients effectively resulting in work awards

  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and IRB experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Self starter with experience working in a team environment

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to prioritize and organize a high-volume workload and changing priorities

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • High personal integrity and ethics required
